15-Year-Old Boy Injured in Golf Cart Accident | Chelan Personal Injury Lawyer
It is hard to think of golf carts as dangerous. However, like any other vehicle, they can cause serious Washington auto accidents. As a Bellevue personal injury lawyer, I have seen these accidents happen before. Earlier this week, a 15-year-old boy suffered serious personal injuries after being thrown from a golf cart. The accident happened Tuesday night in Chelan, Washington. According to the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office, Cody Lolos and his friend were riding a golf cart in the Lake Chelan Municipal Golf Course. Lolos’ friend was driving the golf cart down a steep hill when he made an abrupt left turn, causing Lolos to fall out of the vehicle. When his parents arrived at the scene, he could not remember the accident. He had abrasions on his right arm, right shoulder and right ear. He was immediately taken to the Lake Chelan Community Hospital. Lolos is now at Harborview Medical Center and is listed in satisfactory condition. We wish him a quick recovery. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries in this accident. This is also an excellent reminder that it really doesn’t matter what type of vehicle we are talking about, there is always a propensity towards injury. Leave a Reply |
