15-Year-Old Brittany Davis of Yakima is Killed in Tragic Accident
Sometimes auto accidents happen for no apparent reason and nothing could have been done to prevent it. As a Washington personal injury lawyer working at a Seattle auto accident law firm I know that you can’t always place blame after an auto accident. 42-year-old Marita Davis was driving home from Tacoma to Yakima after taking her kids to visit their grandmother. Davis was driving through Cle Elum going East on I-90 when she started feeling dizzy and blacked out. When she finally woke up she had crashed her car into a tree and her 15-year-old daughter, Brittany Davis, was dead. Friends and family mourn her loss and her parents are devastated. Marita has no idea what caused her to black out and doesn’t remember any part of the accident. Two other children were in the car at the time, 6-year-old Jayden and 8-year-old Kaycee, both sustained serious personal injuries and were initially taken to Kittitas Valley Community Hospital, Kaycee was later transferred to Harborview Medical Center.
