3 Injured in Van Explosion

One very unlikely incident occurred in Bellevue on Thursday, January 20^th at around 2:00pm. A Van was rolling backward down a hill near 145^th Place Southeast. No one seemed to be controlling the direction of the van as it rolled into a Chevron gas station. Something in the cab ignited causing a large explosion that engulfed the van in flames. At the time of the explosion, three occupants jumped out of the vehicle, each of them on fire. The woman and two men were quickly transported to Harborview Medical Center where they received care for their serious burns.

The reason for the van rolling backward with occupants inside as well as the cause of the explosion itself is unknown. However, there were three people that sustained serious personal injuries who may be able to build a case.
