52-year-old Mark Bohms of Robinson, Ill., was distracted when he drove his semi-truck into a horse-drawn buggy in Kentucky killing 3-year-old Barber Smoker and injuring three members of her family. 58-year-old Abram Smoker, 57-year-old Susie Smoker and 15-year-old Katie Smoker were the three other passengers hurt and al were transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Abram and Susie were treated and are in stable condition, Katie, however is in critical condition. Bohms was reaching down to get a cigarette when he crashed into the buggy and he is now being charged with murder, three counts of assault and criminal mischief.
