On Friday, November 5^th at 7:38 am 29-year-old Tamara Anna was driving west on State Route 104 in her 2006 Jeep Wrangler. She had just passed the Hood Canal Bridge when a 2006 Nissan Murano pulled out onto the road in front of her. The driver of the Murano, 49-year-old Susan Bennett, failed to yield at a stop sign. The result was a devastating auto accident that totaled the Muranano beyond repair and caused serious damage to the front-end of the Wrangler. Tamara Anna sustained no physical injuries, but Susan Bennett had to be transported to the emergency room at Harborview Medical Center for neck injuries.

This accident, like so many others, resulted in a trip to the emergency room and medical treatment. Fortunately, nobody was killed in this auto accident. Even with the addition of side airbags, T-bone collisions can result in serious personal injuries. The best safety measure that a vehicle can have is a driver who is always alert.
