Car Accident Involves Seattle Police Officer | Kent Auto Accident Attorney
Being a Kent car accident attorney at a Bellevue personal injury law firm, I have focused my career on helping the victims of serious auto accidents. Many of those I help have been permanently injured by a drunk driver, distracted driver, or someone that did not obey traffic laws and signals. I help those injured in accidents beyond their control on a daily basis and realize how, often times falling victim to these accidents is simply the luck of the draw. The harsh reality is that there are many incidents on the road that are beyond our control and all we can do is pay attention to the other drivers on the road and practice defensive driving. A police officer was driving in Seattle Friday, October 29th, when a car unexpectedly ran a red light. The officer who had a police dog along with him acted quickly, swerving out of the vehicle’s path in an effort to avoid a collision. The officer lost control of his vehicle and hit three cars parked on the side of the road. Nobody was hurt in the accident; however, the dog was taken to a veterinarian hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The at-fault driver was charged with failing to stop at a stop light. Many Kent auto accidents are impossible to predict, however, it is our responsibility as Washington licensed drivers to be extremely cautious while driving and be on the lookout for distracted or irresponsible drivers.
