As a Seattle car accident attorney, Bellevue personal injury lawyer, and Washington wrongful death attorney, I have heard about, and even represented people in, some very unusual auto accidents occurring around Washington State. On Thursday, an 86-year-old man crashed his car into a local Bank of America.

The collision took place at around 11:30 a.m. in the Westwood Village shopping center.

The man accidently hit the accelerator, causing the car to smash into the large front window. The man says he thought his car had been set in park. Unfortunately, the collision injured two inside the West Seattle Bank of America. Both victims, who are in their thirties, suffered only minor injuries. Officials say that the man will most likely not be charged. However, he will need to renew his license before he drives again.

Although the accident caused some damage, we are glad no one was badly injured. In some instances, little can be done to prevent an auto accident. However, we can greatly reduce the number of traffic accidents by always staying alert while driving. Remember, even minor distractions can negatively impact our driving.
