Car accidents are usually shocking, unexpected occurrences that create an unnecessary burden for everyone involved. On Sunday night, Bill and Marie Black were terrified when a car drove into their Spokane home. The incident happened around 10 p.m. at the intersection of Mallon Avenue and Chestnut Street.

The driver of a white Sedan failed to yield at the nearby intersection and collided with a second vehicle, a Volvo Sedan. The impact caused the Volvo to go over the sidewalk and crash into the corner of the house.

Unfortunately, the driver of the white Sedan quickly fled the scene and police are now conducting a search. However, officials have no description of the driver.

Luckily, no one was seriously injured in the accident. Only one of the passengers of the Volvo suffered minor soreness.

There was a great deal of property damage, which is estimated at over $30,000. We wish them the very best as they deal with the aftermath of this terrible car accident.
