Car Hits and Injures Seattle Pedestrian | Seattle Car Accident Lawyer
As a Seattle auto accident and personal injury lawyer and author of several books Friday morning, an auto accident caused life-threatening injuries for a local pedestrian. A 45-year-old woman was struck by a car at the intersection of Northeast 45th Street and 36th Avenue Northeast. The accident occurred in the View Ridge neighborhood. The woman stepped onto the crosswalk on Northeast 45th Street when she was hit by the eastbound vehicle. At the scene, officers had to administer CPR. The woman was immediately taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. Police are still investigating the accident to see what contributed to the car accident. Although Seattle is becoming increasingly friendly to pedestrians and cyclists, it is still important to be cautious of vehicles at all times. Each year, many pedestrians are involved in auto accidents due to negligent driving and visibility problems. Drivers can also greatly reduce the likelihood of these accidents by always watching out for pedestrians, and remembering that they usually have the right of way. We hope the victim has a full and quick recovery.
