A fatal auto accident occurred this morning in Auburn when a car collided into a semi-truck on Highway 167.
The tragic collision happened before 4:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes. Sadly, as a Seattle car accident attorney who handles Seattle wrongful death cases, we are all too familiar with these types of accidents.

The car slightly drifted off the road and hit the back of a semi-truck that was parked on the shoulder of the road.

Sadly, the driver of the car did not endure the impact and died at the scene of the collision. No other people were harmed in the accident.

The scene was a big distraction to drivers this morning, causing some traffic problems. Both the southbound and northbound lanes were heavily backed up before morning rush hour.

Investigators are still trying to determine what may have caused the accident. We are sorry for the victim’s family during this difficult time.
