Deadly Drunk Driving Car Crash on I-5 Monday Morning | Seattle Car Crash Lawyer
As a Seattle car accident lawyer and Washington wrongful death attorney, I am continually confronted with the harsh realities of drinking and driving. In 2008, thousands of people were killed in auto accidents involving alcohol. However, despite all the warnings, some drivers continue to endanger others by driving while intoxicated. Monday morning, a drunk-driving accident on Interstate 5 killed one man and injured a construction worker. The incident occurred just after midnight in the southbound lanes of I-5 near the I-90 interchange. The 23-year-old driver lost control of his vehicle and crashed into the back of a parked truck. The 25-year-old passenger died at the scene of the collision. A construction worker in the truck suffered minor injuries and was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. The driver of the vehicle was also taken to Harborview Medical Center. He is booked into the King County Jail for further investigation of involuntary manslaughter. We have written a book to help guide surviving family members through a Washington wrongful death claim, which we are making available to Washington residents at no charge. The book is called, In Case of Death: Straight Talk on Washington Wrongful Death. Request your copy at no charge. Leave a Reply |
