Don’t Walk in New Jersey
Most of us have heard that a former American Idol contestant was struck and killed on a New Jersey street by a hit and run motorist. Police have now arrested that motorist for the wrongful death. What most of us don’t know is that the state where this tragic pedestrian fatality occurred, New Jersey, is leading the United States in pedestrian fatalities. In fact, so far in 2009, 30% of all pedestrian accidents where the pedestrian was killed have happened in New Jersey. Thankfully, the problem is not as severe in Washington. If you or someone you know has been injured as a pedestrian it is critical that you speak to an attorney to help protect your rights. Don’t put it off. Talk to a lawyer soon.
