The human body can be a fragile thing. Especially when exposed to the forces generated in car accidents, truck accidents, motorcycle accidents, and SUV accidents. Those forces increase as the weights of the vehicles involved in a crash increase. Yesterday that was double trouble in a two SUV accident that caused injuries. Wednesday evening near the intersection of Lincoln and Custer avenues in Yakima, Washington a two SUVs collided and sent a total of seven people, including two children, to the Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital with personal injuries.

Around 6:30 p.m a head-on collision between a GMC Envoy and a BMW X5 occurred which authorities believe could have involved the use of alcohol. As with all alcohol related car accidents, these injuries could have been prevented if the impaired drivers would have exercised a little self control and better judgment. It is simple, please don’t drink and drive.
