There were at least three people with personal injuries as a result of a series of hit-and-run car accidents in White Center last night. At around 7:45 PM, the first auto accident occurred at the intersection of 4th Avenue SW and SW Roxbury Street. A Toyota Sienna caused the accident as it ran into a smaller vehicle and forced it into a fence. While attempting to get away, the Sienna then hit a van and caused it to crash into a light pole. The Sienna managed to flee the scene as it sped away and hit a number of other cars on its way out. The Sienna was later found abandoned in Burien and police are still looking for its driver. Hit and run accidents are despicable. Anytime you injure anyone or damage their property, it is your duty and responsibility to stay at the scene. When you run away from your responsibilities like the driver of the Sienna in this car accident, you are only making things worse for yourself and for everyone involved. We hope everyone turns out to be okay and that the suspect is found and held responsible for their actions.
