Driver Killed in Washington Semi Truck Collision | Seattle Wrongful Death Lawyer

Commercial trucks cause hundreds of horrible accidents each year. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, in 2008, there were a shocking 677 fatalities and 23,000 injuries as a result of truck accidents in Washington as well as all throughout the country. As a Seattle truck accident attorney and Washington wrongful death lawyer, I would like to warn drivers to be careful around larger vehicles.

Just this week, there was a terrible truck accident in our state. The incident occurred Wednesday night at 8 p.m. between Grant and Benton counties.

Ronald Collins, 55, was driving east on Highway 24 when he went through a curve too fast . The trailer overturned landing on its top on a nearby guardrail.

Despite wearing a seatbelt, Collins was seriously injured and died at the scene.

We are sorry to learn of this fatal crash. Unfortunately, there are hundreds of truck accidents in our state each year. We urge all drivers to be especially careful when driving near larger vehicles.
