Early in the morning last Friday, a 34-year-old man from Mabton rolled his car over the median on Interstate 82 near Benton City. Police have stated that drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash that injured both the driver and the passenger, a 31-year-old woman. Both were quickly airlifted to Kadlec Medical Center in Richland, where the passenger was treated and released later on Friday. The driver was eventually airlifted to Harborview Medical Center for further medical care.

Drivers under the influence can be very harmful to themselves as seen with the story above, but can also be a danger to those around them.
