Drunk drivers cause auto accidents in Seattle and throughout Washington state. The man, who was driving a Ford Aerostar, was speeding southbound when he attempted to pass a Dodge Caravan, officials said. During his attempt to pass the van, the man collided head-on into an oncoming Ford Mustang which was being driven by a 23-year-old woman. A serious injury causing car accident was the result. Both individuals suffered serious personal injures and were taken to the hospital. After being treated, the suspect was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving and possible vehicular assault charges. While many posts lately have been focusing on anti-texting and driving stories, let us not forget the serious problem of drunk driving.
