On the road, a moment of bad judgment can be catastrophic. Believe me. As a Seattle car accident lawyer and Bellevue personal injury attorney, I deal with the aftermath of bad decisions. Every day, I see people injured in Washington auto accidents caused by the poor judgment of other drivers.

This past Saturday, eight teenagers were injured in a collision on Highway 97. The accident took place around 9:30 a.m. in the city of Brewster, Washington.

Adriana Gomez Saucedo, 18, was driving northbound when she tried to pass the 1999 GMC Yukon in front of her. She drifted into the southbound shoulder and lost control of her 2004 Mazda 61, hitting the left front side of the GMC.

Both vehicles went off the roadway. The Mazda rolled over twice before coming to a stop.

Both drivers escaped the scene unharmed. However, the eight passengers in the two vehicles suffered numerous injuries, including head and neck injuries.

We wish all eight victims a full and easy recovery.
