Ethel, WA Teenager Causes Auto Accident After Falling Asleep at the Wheel| Seattle Car Accident Lawyer

18 year-old Michael Eng is being treated for severe back, neck and head injuries and is listed in serious condition at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle following a car accident. Monday morning Eng was driving on U.S. Highway 12 just west of the Lake Mayfield Bridge. It was here when a head on collision occurred after Eng fell asleep while driving. He then drove off the road, woke up, overcompensated and collided head on with Anthony and Leeann Evans. The Evans’ were taken to Morton General Hospital but were not suffering from serious injuries. Thankfully all three individuals were wearing their seatbelts and alcohol, texting, or drugs were not involved. This was just a simple case of being too sleepy to drive. Both of the cars involved were totaled and Eng will be charged with second-degree negligent driving.
