Everett Car Crash Leads to Fatality | Seattle Car Accident Lawyer
On Friday evening an Everett auto accident ended in wrongful death of a young man. Two people were killed and three injured in the southbound lanes of Broadway at 41st Street, as a result of a car accident that police think was caused by a drunk driver. Investigators believe a 28-year-old woman from Bothell was driving the wrong direction at about 9:30 p.m. in a Nissan Xterra SUV on Broadway, causing a head on collision with a Nissan SX two-door coupe. A 24-year-old woman and 19-year-old man in the Nissan SX died at the scene; two 18-year-old men who were also passengers in the car were taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. They are believed to have sustained serious personal injuries. The SUV’s passenger had non life-threatening injuries. The driver was the only one unharmed. The woman in the SUV was arrested on suspicion of vehicular homicide, DUI, and vehicular assault. An investigation is being conducted by Washington State Patrol to determine the cause of the accident and the blood alcohol level of the suspect. A bad decision can not only cause a car accident on our roads and kill an innocent person, but also hurt the victim’s family and friends and countless others who are connected to the victim.
