Family Suffers Great Loss after a Weekend Crash | Washington Auto Accident Attorney
With summer finally here, more people are hitting the roads for weekend trips and family vacations. Unfortunately, as a Seattle personal injury lawyer, I continue to see many tragic Washington car accidents these summer months. Just this weekend, a Washington car accident near Moses Lake killed one and injured three others. The fatal accident happened this Saturday on I-90. Around 2:55 p.m., a 36-year-old woman was driving a minivan eastbound when she fell asleep at the wheel. The car veered right. The woman awoke and overcorrected the vehicle, causing it to rollover several times before hitting a DOT fence. The woman’s husband and front seat passenger, Robert Goodwin, was instantly killed in the impact. Her two sons, ages 2 and 7, were seriously injured. They were taken to Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane. The woman was also injured and taken to Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake. We will keep the family in our thoughts as they recover from this traumatic car accident. Losing a loved family member or friend is an incredibly painful experience. Whether it be in a car accident or not, the last thing that you and your family want to have to deal with or worry about are legal issues and complications. In an attempt to provide you with much deserved help and assistance, I have co-authored a book with attorney Patrick J. Kang which is a guide for families of Washington wrongful death victims. The book is called, In Case of Death: Straight Talk on Washington Wrongful Death, and is available at no charge to Washington residents by clicking on the preceding link. Leave a Reply |
