Fatal Auto Accident Result of Head on Collision | King County Car Accident Lawyer

A few seconds of inattention can send one slamming into the car in front of them, a couple of seconds of drowsiness can send a car plowing into a tree and a few distracted seconds can lead to a fatal head-on collision.

Early morning on Sunday September 6th a man was killed in a fatal auto accident. At about 2:30 a.m. a man was driving a gray Ford F350 when he crossed the center line near the Highway 167 entrance at Stewart Road and Thornton Avenue.

When the truck crossed the center it had a head on collision with a white Toyota echo. The truck ripped open the Echo’s roof, killing the 24-year-old Pierce County man behind the wheel.

The driver of the F-350 was taken to Harborview Medical Center to be treated for serious injuries from the fatal auto accident. The man could face vehicular homicide charges when he is released from the hospital.

The reason behind the crash is currently unknown. Weather does not appear to be a factor and troopers are investigating whether alcohol, drugs, drowsiness or speed could have contributed to the fatal auto accident.
