Fatal Motorcycle Accident in Port Angeles | Washington Motorcycle Accident Lawyer
As humans, we always want to know ‘why?’ Anybody who has ever talked to a five year old knows that it is something in our nature to want to figure things out. That desire makes it unsettling and frustrating when auto accidents cannot be explained. As a Washington motorcycle accident attorney and Bellevue personal injury lawyer, I know that in most auto accident cases there is an identifiable cause of an accident. However, occasionally drivers unexpectedly lose control on the road. Sunday afternoon, a 59-year-old motorcyclist died when he lost control and veered off the roadway in Port Angeles. At about 6 p.m., John M. Fullerton was driving southbound on Highway 117 with a group of motorcyclists. He drifted off the Tumwater Truck Route and was thrown off his motorcycle. He was later found with serious injuries on the west side of the road. He was taken to Olympic Medical Center and later, airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he later died. Witnesses say there were no outside factors that contributed to the motorcycle accident. It is still unclear what caused Fullerton to lose control of his motorcycle. Fullerton recently retired from the Coast Guard and Washington Marine Repair in Port Angeles. He was married and had a 10-year-old son. It is a tragic loss. We offer our condolences to the victim’s family during this very difficult time. One Response to “Fatal Motorcycle Accident in Port Angeles | Washington Motorcycle Accident Lawyer”Leave a Reply |
