Fatal Port Orchard ATV Accident Kills 1 | Tacoma Personal Injury Law
Tragic accidents flood the TV stations and newspapers everyday and still it is shocking as a Bellevue auto crash attorney when fatal accidents claim young lives. Port Orchard, Washington has been no stranger to tragedy in the last week as two fatal tragedies occurred just 10 minutes apart. Sunday, January 24th right after the fatal Walmart shooting in Port Orchard in which the suspect along with a 13-year-old girl were killed and two deputies shot, a fatal ATV accident took the life of a 28-year-old man. Kenneth Folden was driving an ATV with his 26-year-old wife when the Yamaha ATV lost a tire. The mechanical malfunction sent the ATV off the road and straight into a tree. Folden was thrown from the ATV and emergency aid was called to the scene at 3:51 pm. Folden was found semi-conscious when emergency crews arrive. Folden was breathing normally, but died from his injuries shortly after crews arrive to administer aid as the major systems in his body shut down. The 26-year-old woman remains in Harborview Medical Center where she is being treated for internal injuries and broken bones.
