Girl Rescued from Burning Truck after a Car Accident | Yakima Car Accident Attorney
The downside of being a King County auto accident lawyer and Seattle personal injury attorney is seeing people suffer after a horrible Seattle car accident. Unfortunately, some accidents can leave a catastrophic mark. On Monday, an 11-year-old girl was rescued from a burning pick-up truck after a fatal car accident. The incident occurred around 6:45 p.m. in the town of Toppenish. According to the State Patrol, Mabel Cultee was driving a 2000 Dodge van southbound when she failed to stop at an intersection. Unfortunately, she collided into the side of a 1990 GMC pickup. Two occupants in the pickup, 62-year-old Reyes Valdez and 40-year-old Remigio Valdez were instantly killed in the impact. Cultee was also injured in the collision and taken to Yakima Regional Medical and Cardiac Center, where she is currently listed in satisfactory condition. Officials do not believe alcohol or speed contributed to the collision. However, they say Cultee was using prescription drugs at the time of the accident, which may have played a part. The hard part of my job is witnessing the intense devastation brought to the families of accident victims like these. The highlight of my job is helping families gain a little bit of peace and closer through justice. Because I believe so strongly in this, I co-authored a book with attorney Patrick J. Kang entitled In Case of Death: Straight Talk on Washington Wrongful Death. The book outlines what happens in a wrongful death suite, and helps families achieve justice. We have made this book available free of charge to Washington residents and it can be found by clicking the preceding link. Leave a Reply |
