A wrongful death occurred Sunday at 2:30 a.m., when a drunk driver killed a young man. Scott A. Glover, a 26-year-old Federal Way Man, was attempting to fix a bus that he was a passenger on when a pickup truck operated by a 39-year-old California man crashed into him killing him instantly.

The accident occurred on southbound I-5 in South Seattle.

After the initial crash, another car rear-ended the pickup truck causing further serious injuries. The driver of the pickup truck and a Federal Way man, who was driving the car, were taken to Harborview Medical Center. Also among the injured were 6 passengers aboard the bus and a female passenger who was riding in the car.

Police say because alcohol was involved in the crash vehicular homicide charges may be brought.

This is a horrible tragedy. This is another example of a drunk driver destroying lives and families. Even worse, the wrongful death victim was attempting to help others by doing a good deed when he was killed. My thoughts are with those who have suffered this loss and I sincerely hope they are able to find justice in this situation.
