Grant County Sheriff’s Deputy Dies in Car Accident | Seattle Personal Injury and Wrongful Death Lawyer
At around 7:20 Sunday night the state of Washington lost yet another deputy. On a road nine miles south of Ephrata, WA, Deputy John Bernard died at the scene of the single-car accident roll-over accident. “Deputy Bernard was a tireless public servant whose commitment to law enforcement and serving the citizens helped make Grant County a safer place,” said Sheriff Frank T. DeTrolio. It was reported that the road was wet, but there was no snow or ice at the scene. Bernard was wearing his seat belt and was not on his way to an emergency. A major accident investigation team from Seattle is handling the case and Grant County will be conducting an autopsy as soon as possible. Straight Talk Law will have further information as soon as it is reported. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of this Grant County deputy, husband, father, and man and he will not be forgotten. Leave a Reply |
