Higher Speed Limits Lead to More Traffic Fatalaties
Reuters has reported that in the decade following the increased speed limits from 55 to 65, traffic fatalaties have increased by 3.2%. The largest increase in traffic deaths was on rural interstates where the rate rose 9.1%. Urban interstates experienced an increase of 4% in vehicular deaths. The full story can be found here.
