Kent Washington Woman Struck, Left To Die | Kent Personal Injury and Wrongful Death Lawyer
A 22-year-old woman suffered severe personal injury from multiple drivers when she was repeatedly struck while crossing Highway 515 in Kent. Kent is a city southeast of Seattle and is home to the King County Regional Justice Center. The victim who suffered the serious injuries is Narmada Timsina. She is a refugee. Ms. Timsina and her family arrived just a year ago from Nepal. She had begun making her way in America, she maintained a steady job and was looking forward to applying for school. Her friends and family describe her as a smiling, loving, beautiful young woman that would never hurt anyone. Narmada was seen getting off the bus just before she was struck. Investigators have asked anyone who witnessed the crime to come forward, however, no witnesses have yet come to police. Washington State Patrol also believes that Narmada was struck by multiple vehicles, whether the collisions occurred in quick succession or over a period of time has yet to be determined. Troopers do know that no one slowed down or stopped after hitting her to help this young woman who lay dying in the street. Narmada is currently in the Intensive Care Unit and Harborview Medical Center and listed in critical condition. We can only hope that in individuals that struck her and subsequently failed to the take necessary action to help her are brought to justice.
