Earlier this afternoon a 19-year-old Lake Stevens woman suffered serious personal injuries after being involved in a car accident with a semi truck on Highway 9. The accident occurred just after 12 o’clock and the woman was immediately rushed to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

The extent of the woman’s injuries as well as what caused the car accident are unknown at this time.
