Apparently, the driver of the pickup truck had forgotten to turn on his headlights after leaving a party. Police tried to pull the man over, but it soon turned into a dramatic car chase. In all the commotion, one of the police cars was hit.

The car chase ended with the pickup crashing into a family’s home at about 2 a.m. As a result, the home’s chimney completely collapsed, leaving a hole in the wall.
Thankfully, there were no serious personal injuries. The driver of the pickup truck was taken to St. Francis Hospital, where he received stitches. After further investigation, he may be charged for driving under the influence.

This whole thing started with the driver simply not turning his headlights on. Needless to say, it’s generally unwise to try to outrun the police. Not only do they almost always win, but you are also creating a very dangerous situation for the drivers on the road. Car chases usually lead to very bad endings.
