Man Killed in Richland, WA Motorcycle Accident | Seattle Motorcycle Accident Attorney

As a motorcycle enthusiast, I feel it is necessary to remind everyone that the majority of motorcycle fatalities occur this time of year. In the last nine years as a Seattle car accident lawyer and Bellevue wrongful death lawyer, I have seen my share of Seattle motorcycle accidents. They may just be some of the most horrifying collisions I see.

This weekend, a motorcycle accident in Richland took one man‘s life. The fatal incident occurred at the Intersection of Wright Avenue and Tinkle Street at about 4:35 p.m. on Friday.

Duane Brownlee, 40, was riding his motorcycle in the northbound lanes of Wright Avenue when a vehicle unexpectedly turned in front of him. Brownlee sustained serious injuries from the collision.

An emergency crew arrived on the scene and transported the victim to Kadlec Regional Medical Center. Unfortunately, Brownlee did not survive; he died later that day.

Police are still investigating the scene. It may take up to two weeks to complete the investigation.

This is the worst time for motorcycle accidents. About 80% of motorcycle fatalities occur between April and September. So, please keep this in mind the next time you take a motorcycle ride.
