More Details In Wrongful Death of 4 year-old | Seattle Personal Injury Attorney
Additional details have been reported in the auto accident wrongful death of a 4 year-old. See here for the most current details. This tragedy saddens my heart. My thoughts are with the family. My last post about this accident drew criticism because of my belief that the driver of the other vehicle should be prosecuted. I get it. I know that people make mistakes. I understand that at any given moment there are probably thousands of drunk drivers on the road. I don’t personally know the driver who caused this accident, and I am not in a position to judge him. With that said, people must be held responsible for their choices. Even when their choices have severe and unintended consequences. The justice system has to now take its course. The police and the prosecutor will have to decide if Gussner should face charges, and what charges those will be. Sadly, even without any criminal prosecution, this young man will have to live the rest of his life knowing that he is responsible for the death of a child and the heartbreak of a family.
