Motorcyclist Injured in Vancouver Collision | Seattle Motorcycle Accident Attorney

With summer finally here, many motorcyclists are on the roads again. As a Seattle motorcycle accident attorney and Bellevue personal injury lawyer, I urge everyone to be careful out there.

Earlier this week, a 73-year-old man was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident in Vancouver, Washington. The incident happened around 7 p.m. along Northeast Padden Park Way.

Billy R. Stephenson was riding his motorcycle eastbound when he made a left turn, driving into the path of an eastbound Sedan. The Sedan was unable to stop and struck the 1995 Honda Shadow motorcycle.

Stephenson was immediately rushed to Southwest Washington Medical Center with serious head and face injuries. He is currently listed in stable condition.

The driver of the Sedan left the scene unharmed.

We wish for a full recovery for Mr. Stephenson.

Luckily, he was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision. Studies have shown that motorcycle helmets can reduce the risk of fatal head injuries by 37 percent. We urge all motorcyclists to stay safe by always wearing a helmet on the road.
