New Orleans Saints’ McCray Arrested for DUI | Seattle Personal Injury and Wrongful Death Lawyer
Any time you drive drunk you risk potentially being involved in a serious car accident that could lead to a large range of personal injuries. With his team in the crucial final stretch of the NFL season, you would think that Bobby McCray of the New Orleans Saints would be smart enough to drive responsibly. This wasn’t the case as he was arrested at around 4:30 AM on Tuesday in New Orleans. McCray was lucky that his conduct didn’t cause serious personal injury or even a wrongful death. Police charged him for driving while intoxicated, speeding, careless operation of a motor vehicle and not having his vehicle registration with him. McCray refused to take a breathalyzer test and could lose his license for one year under Louisiana State Law. McCray is a key player on the Saints and probably a role model to many. This behavior should never be condoned and it is even worse when there are hundreds of kids who look up to and admire you. I’m sure McCray could afford a cab or a limo and there is no excuse for this type of behavior. Please don’t drink and drive.
