NY Woman Injured in Hit-and-Run Car Accident | Seattle Car Accident Attorney

In Malone, NY, a woman was severely injured in a hit-and-run car accident. The incident happened at about 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Sun T. Horne was driving east on Route 11 when a westbound vehicle drifted into her lane. In an attempt to avoid an accident, she tried pulling over to the shoulder of the road. However, the vehicle still hit the driver’s side of the 2008 Honda, causing her to lose control of the vehicle and veer off the road into the culvert.

Horne was taken to Alice Hyde Medical Center with injuries. She was later released.
The driver of the other vehicle fled the scene after the crash. Investigators are searching for the driver.

Fleeing the scene of a collision is a serious offense. Yet hit-and-run accidents are fairly common in the United States. Although drivers may not know how to react after a traffic accident, the worst option is fleeing. The penalties are usually much worse for those drivers.
