Oak Harbor Man Crashes Vehicle in Alcohol Related Auto Accident

At 10:20pm on Monday, January 17^th, 51-year-old Bradley Hansen from Oak harbor was driving his 2002 Chevrolet Impala while intoxicated. He was cruising northbound on Zylstra Road when a deer ran onto the street. Avoiding the deer, Hansen swerved and crashed into a parked 1998 Oldsmobile Regency with two passengers inside. The 13 year-old boy and 51 year-old woman in the Oldsmobile were unharmed. After the cars collided, the Chevrolet continued along and crashed into a power pole, then came to a stop in a driveway. Hansen was uninjured.

Anyone driving a vehicle with alcohol in their system, let alone a blood alcohol content of .08 or higher, puts themselves and everyone else on the road at risk.
