Oak Harbor Man in Serious Condition After Rear-End Car Accident | Seattle Car Accident Attorney

As a Seattle personal injury attorney, Washington rear-end car accidents are among the most common cases that I deal with. Just yesterday, Christine Brannon, a 58-year-old woman from Oak Harbor, was driving south in her white Chevy Impala on the highway. Following behind her was 25-year-old Angela Collier, also from Oak Harbor, in her 2010 Jeep Wrangler. It may be no surprise to you what happened next as Brannon stopped for a traffic jam at the Ault Field intersection. When Brannon stopped, Collier failed to do the same and crashed into Brannon’s Impala from behind.

Also in Christine Brannon’s car was Bradley Brannon, who was injured in this rear-end accident and taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for treatment. The two drivers of the vehicles did not suffer any injuries, which could have a lot to do with the fact that they were wearing seat belts. Thankfully Bradley Brannon was the only passenger because Sgt. Jason Longoria of the State Patrol said “if there would have been someone in the back seat of the car, they would have died.” The back of the Impala was totaled as it was crushed all the way up to the front of the passenger’s seat.

Again, thankfully everyone took the proper safety precautions which could have prevented tragedy. May this be just another reminder to always wear your seatbelt and stay alert at all times on the road.
