Pedestrian Struck by Two Vehicles in Tukwila Car Crash | Seattle Car Crash Attorney
As a Seattle car accident attorney and Washington wrongful death lawyer, it still surprises and amazes me how some people react in car accidents. Friday night, a woman was hit by two vehicles as she crossed East Marginal Way South. The incident occurred around 11 p.m. in Tukwila. Clashana Grayson, 24, was crossing the street when she was hit by a speeding Cadillac. The impact threw Grayson over the hood of the car and onto the ground. The driver of the Cadillac quickly fled the scene. The victim lay on the ground bleeding when the second vehicle struck her. The second driver also left the scene without checking on the victim. Tukwila police soon discovered Grayson and she was rushed to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. Unfortunately, she suffered serious injuries and later died at the hospital. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends. I have authored a book called, In Case of Death: Straight Talk on Washington Wrongful Death which is a guide for Washington families dealing with a wrongful death claim. The book is available at no charge for Washington residents. Police are currently searching for the two vehicles, which are believed to be a 1990’s red Cadillac and silver Honda Civic. Grayson had a 7-year-old daughter. Investigators are unclear as to what the woman was doing in Tukwila at that hour. You never know how someone will react in any sort of emergency. It is very unfortunate that none of the drivers stopped to help the victim. Things may have ended differently for Grayson after this terrible car accident if the drivers that hit her had taken responsibility, stopped, called an ambulance, and rendered aid. Now they will have to live with their choices which resulted in the death of this pedestrian. Leave a Reply |
