Road Rage Causes King County Crash | Washington Car Crash Attorney
When you’re stuck in traffic, it’s easy to feel like you want to pull your hair out. Many of us get frustrated with other drivers from time to time. However, as a Washington car crash attorney and Seattle personal injury lawyer, I have seen how a little anger in traffic can spiral out of control. A recent incident of road rage led to a car accident on state route 167. A King County Sheriff’s deputy was injured in the incident, which took place Monday night. The Deputy Officer was driving south on State Route 167 behind a Jeep and a Honda CRV. The driver of the Honda became angry and started flashing his headlights. He then sped past the Jeep and cut him off. The driver slammed on his brakes, got out of the vehicle, and approached the Jeep, startling the man and woman inside. In an attempt to get away, the driver put the Jeep in Reverse. The deputy, still behind the Jeep, swerved his car to avoid a collision. Instead, he crashed into the abutment of the Stewart Street overpass. The deputy was injured when the cars airbag deployed. Both her wrists were injured. Luckily, no other people were injured during the incident. The crash is still being investigated.
