Driving towards the Mercer on-ramp, a 24-year-old female was the victim of a serious auto accident when she lost control of her vehicle, causing it to flip upside-down. When the Fire Department arrived, the driver was found unconscious inside her vehicle. She was removed from the vehicle and rushed to Harborview Medical Center for where she is being treated for serious injuries including a collapsed lung and shattered pelvis. Speeding is presumed to be the main cause of the accident, drugs or alcohol did not play a role.
