Seattle Car Crash Injures Six | Seattle Car Accident Lawyer

A Toyota Celica was driving south on 23rd Street at around 8 p.m. The driver of the Celica made a left turn when he crashed into a northbound Chevy Impala.

The impact of the car crash, threw the impala into a tree. The vehicle bounced off the tree and careened over a curb. There were five people in the vehicle.

All six people involved in the crash were taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. The most severe injuries included a fractured ankle, a fractured pelvis and a jaw injury.

It is believed that the driver of the Celica was intoxicated at the time of the crash. However, investigators are still waiting for the results of a blood test.

In 2008, an estimated 11,773 people died in alcohol related auto accidents. According to the Mothers against Drunk Driving website, someone is killed by a drunk driver every 45 minutes. Despite all the unsettling data, people continue to drink and drive. Please help reduce the number of alcohol related auto accidents by refusing to drive after drinking any amount of alcohol.
