Seattle Personal Injury Lawyer | Toddler Hit While Playing In Yard
A 3-year-old boy was seriously injured when a drunken 26-year-old man from Vancouver failed to make a turn and ran into the boy’s yard hitting him and crashing into a garage. The driver then proceeded to get out of his vehicle and without stopping to see if the boy was even alive, ran from the scene. Fortunately, police found the driver six blocks away from the house and he is now under arrest and being held on charges of vehicular assault and hit-and-run. The boy was transported to Peace Health Southwest Medical Center where he is now in stable condition. As a Seattle personal injury lawyer I am absolutely disgusted at the actions of the driver and I am very glad that police were able to track him down. He is very lucky that he didn’t kill the little boy when he ran into him and will face a lesser charge because of it, but he deserves to be put away for a long time for not even checking to see if the boy was alive.
