Stolen Car Chase Kills Two | Seattle Wrongful Death Lawyer

As a Bellevue car accident attorney and Washington wrongful death lawyer, I’ve dealt with all types of Seattle area auto accidents. However, very little compares to the terrible collision that took place in Yakima on Sunday. Two people were killed as a stolen pickup truck fled from police.

Officers were following the vehicle when it crashed. The 30-year-old driver, Shaun Christopher Kollman, left the vehicle behind, stealing a second pickup truck from a used car parking lot.

During the car chase, Kollman crashed a total of four times. The final collision killed a 29-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman.

Two other people were taken to a nearby hospital with injuries.

Kollman has been arrested and is under investigation for vehicular homicide, attempted murder, hit-and-run driving and burglary.
