Straight Talk Reminder: Designate a Driver on New Year’s Eve | Seattle Personal Injury and Wrongful Death Lawyer
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), on December 16th, U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood and R. Gil Kerlikowske, Director of the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy, kicked off the “Over the Limit. Under Arrest” national drunk and impaired driving crackdown involving thousands of law enforcement agencies during the holiday season. This crackdown on holiday drunk driving enforcement is being supported by more than $7 million in TV and radio advertising that will run throughout the US from December 16th to January 3rd. Hopefully the campaign reminded individuals to celebrate the December holidays responsibly. We here at Straight Talk Law, a Seattle personal injury law firm, hope that it will help us all ring in the New Year safely. Please don’t drink and drive New Year’s Eve and designated a non-drinking driver when necessary.
