Taxi Crashes into Chase Bank, Stops at Teller Stand
Responsible driving seems to be something that gets tossed out the window the second the weather starts to get nice. As a Seattle auto accident lawyer working at an Auburn pedestrian collision law firm I know that when the sun comes out, the auto accident rate goes up and a lot of these accidents are caused by irresponsible drivers that just aren’t paying attention. It’s the ever common tale of he said, she said. Late Thursday night a cab slammed into the Chase bank at Second Avenue and Union Street in downtown Seattle after, according to the taxi driver, another vehicle slammed into his car sending him over the sidewalk and through the bank walls before coming to a stop in the lobby. But according to the other driver, the taxi sideswiped her and then veered off Second Avenue into the bank. Seattle police are still investigating the scene and have not released an official report about what happened, fortunately there is plenty of security surveillance in the area and police hope that the footage available will solve the mystery. Neither of the drivers sustained any personal injuries in the auto accident and engineers have determined that the building is structurally sound. But the question on Chase banks mind is: who is responsible to pay for the damage? Leave a Reply |
