Taylorsville Teen Killed in Drinking and Texting Car Crash | Seattle Car Accident Lawyer
I am continually speaking out about the dangers of texting and driving. As a Washington car accident attorney, Seattle wrongful death lawyer, and the founder of Teens against Distracted Driving, I have seen too many fatal auto accidents involving teen drivers. In North Carolina, a 19-year-old girl was killed in a car accident Saturday morning. Officials report that the teen driver had been drinking and was texting at the time of the accident. At about 3:30 a.m., Caitlin McLeod Price was leaving a party when she lost control of her vehicle during a turn. Her blue 2007 Chevy Cobalt went off the road and flipped over. Unfortunately, Price was not wearing a seatbelt at the time and was ejected from her vehicle. Speed was also a factor in the collision. Investigators say she was driving at least 10 miles over the legal speed limit. We are very sad to report that Caitlin did not survive the crash. She died at the scene.
