Three-Car Accident on Highway 97 Near Dryden, Washington | Seattle Car Accident Lawyer
As a Seattle car accident lawyer, I know that holidays are a dangerous time to be on the road. During this past holidayweekend, many car accidents popped up all around the Puget Sound. After practicing Washington car accident law and Seattle personal injury law for many years, I know how quickly a catastrophic car accident can occur. Near Dryden, a three-car accident injured three people Sunday afternoon. The accident happened at about 4 p.m. on Highway 97. Benjamin Quintana, 21, was driving northbound when his vehicle drifted into southbound lanes. Quintana struck two vehicles, injuring three people. The victims were taken to Central Washington Hospital. Jennifer Hansen, a passenger in one of the southbound vehicles, was treated for a sore chest and facial lacerations. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, there were 521 auto accident fatalities in the state of Washington in 2008. Reckless drivers are not only endangering themselves, but also the lives of all other drivers on the road. We can help prevent auto accidents by abandoning any unnecessary driving distractions and staying alert at the wheel. Leave a Reply |
