No one will be shocked to hear that teens are at a high risk of being in an auto accident. Only after several years of driving experience does this likelihood begin to drop. In Belfair, three teens were injured in a car accident Thursday night. The incident took place around 9 p.m. near North Mason High School.

Amanda Marsh, 18, was driving a Jeep Cherokee in the southbound lanes of SR-3 when she sped through a curve and lost control of her vehicle. The Cherokee veered off the road and rolled over.

All three occupants suffered minor injuries. They were taken to Harrison Hospital in Bremerton.

Investigators say alcohol was most likely a contributing factor, along with speed.
