Toyota Test Driver Killed in Lexus Supercar Car Crash | Seattle Personal Injury Lawyer
In Germany, Toyota’s chief test driver died in a highway crash Wednesday. The head-on collision happened on highway 410 near the famous Nurburgring race track. Hiromu Naruse, 67, was driving a Lexus LFA supercar when he drifted into oncoming traffic, crashing into two other test drivers in a BMW. Naruse was instantly killed. The two other test drivers survived the crash. One of the men is currently listed in critical condition. Police are still investigating the incident to determine the cause of the crash. Naruse was very involved in the development of the new Lexus supercar the Lexus LFA, the vehicle he was driving at the time of the crash, estimated worth 1.5 million. He joined Toyota in 1963.
